The two books I read are Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets. The favorite book of two is Artemis Fowl. I chose this book because it is a fantasy and I like fantasy books. I like how the characters that were in book were humans, dwarfs, and elves because it let me use my imagination. I like the main characters Artemis because he is smart in the way he ended the war between the dwarves, elves and the human by using a trick. So that why I chose this book.

Over the summer I spent a lot of time reading two fantastic books. The book were interesting. The books blew my mind in unimaginable ways, I couldn't describe. Taming the Star Runner and Rat Life. Out of the two books there were dislike and like about both book's. If I had to choose my favorite one that I probably would choose Rat Life. Rat Life was a great book. I would recommend it for people looking for a interesting book to read because it was very mysterious. It made me, the reader, want to read on and on. The author had described the story like it was a movie in my mind. His details were very interesting. He described his way of thinking of the situation. I thought this book was a great read and if I had to read it again I would be so anxious to!!!

For my first book I read When Darkness Falls by James Gippando. The book was about a homeless man named Falcon. Falcon is threatening to jump off a bridge in south Florida and his only demand is to talk to the Mayors daughter Alicia Mendoza. After he come down he is jumped by the swat team and is put on trial because this is the third time he has attempted to jump off of a bridge in three months. At his trial he gets Jack Swyteck the judge sets his bail at 10,000 dollars and he come up with the money. And when jack goes to the car that Falcon lives in they find a brutally murdered woman in the trunk. I like this book the best because there are so many plot twists and because it was very suspenseful, and it also ends with such a shock.

Over the summer I read two books Twilight and The Guardian. My favorite book was Twilight. I like Twilight because it was a romantic book and I like books that are romantic. The author did a really good job of describing the details; they were so good that I got a picture in my head. I could picture what the people were doing and wearing. Also there were many problems mostly about intense fights that really drew my attention more into the book.

The two books that I read are To Kill a Mockingbird and The Big Bike Race. I liked the Big Bike Race better than To Kill a Mockingbird. The Big Bike Race is about the boy Ernie, who loves to ride his bike and he wants to go to a bike race. He rode his old bike in the bike race with Sonny his coach, but Ernie lost in thirtieth place and Sonny won First place. But Ernie had a good time at the race and was happy that Sonny won the race.

Over the summer I read two books, The First Part Last and The Lovely Bones. Out of those two books my favorite one was The Lovely Bones. This was my favorite book because it was the type of book that you are at the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. Another reason why this book was my favorite is because the author gave a lot of specific details and I could picture the chapters as if it was realistic. This is why I chose The Lovely Bones as my favorite book I read.

Over the summer I read two books called Taming the Star Runner and Tex by S.E. Hinton. Out of the two I liked Taming the Star Runner because during the whole book it kept me off my seat. This was my favorite book because it was exciting. You didn’t know what was going to happen next or if something good or bad was going to happen. This story was mostly about the main character, Travis, going to his uncle’s house on a ranch and his summer there with his four friends he meet. My favorite character is Travis because he is brave and strong throughout the whole book.

The two books that I read over the summer are The School Story and Maniac Magee.
The favorite book that I read over the summer is called Maniac Magee. I liked Maniac Magee because the book explains his life story and what he went through. The story was interesting beacause he was not born Maniac Magee he was actually Jeffrey Lionel Magee and people did not like him because they thought he was crazy.

The book I read was City Of Ember. It was about people who lived underground and did not have enough energy, food, and money. After 6th or 7th grade the mayor made them all do jobs. Then two teenagers Doon and Lina found out that the mayor of the city was evil. This was a mystery.
